Who we are
Founded in 2009, PI5O - Arquitectos e Engenheiros Associados is a company based in Oliveira de Azeméis, dedicated to providing technical services in various areas of architecture and engineering.
Our services combine architectural and engineering studies and projects with ongoing monitoring and coordination throughout their various phases. We strive for precision in design, quality, and comfort, seeking to introduce innovative, efficient, and contemporary conceptual and construction solutions.

senior architect, coordinator
(Oliveira de Azeméis, 1979). Graduated in Architecture from the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (DARQ-FCTUC) in 2006. As part of his academic career, he was awarded the Secil Universities Architecture Prize (2003). Postgraduate in Methodologies of Intervention in Architectural Heritage from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (2007). He is writing a dissertation for his PhD in Architecture at DARQ-FCTUC. He collaborated with the DARQ-FCTUC Study Center (2003-2004), Lucinda Bem-Haja and VÃtor Murtinho (2004-2010) and the Study Office of the Department of Civil Engineering FCTUC in partnership with CoolHaven SA (2009-2011). Lecturer in Geometry at DARQ-FCTUC (2010-2013). Independent professional in architectural projects in co-authorship with several architects (2002-2009). Co-founder and associate architect at PI5O since 2009.

Diana Neves
(Caldas de S. Jorge, 1987). Master's degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (2012). Attended Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland, under the Erasmus program (2010-2011). Her Integrated Master's thesis, entitled "The Domestic Project: The Evolution of House Terminology," resulted from in-depth research on the various spaces that have constituted the house throughout history. PI5O collaborator since January 2013 and Associate Architect since 2019.

Edgar Seabra
(Oliveira de Azeméis, 1980). Graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (2006). Completed a curricular internship at the Portuguese Business Association (2003-2004) and a professional internship at the Center for Studies of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (2006-2007). Collaborated with José Fernando Gonçalves (2004), LuÃs Melo Ferreira (2008), João Pedro Xavier (2008-2013), and the Projects Department of Mpt - Mobility and Territorial Planning (2008-2009). Participated in several congresses, seminars, and conferences in the areas of Architecture and Urbanism. Presented papers at seminars and published in conjunction with the team from the Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Porto. Lecturer and trainer in technical areas since 2009. Independent professional with projects in the fields of Architecture and Urban Planning since 2007. Associate Architect at PI5O since 2018.

(Santa Maria da Feira, 1995). Master's degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture of the University of Minho (2019). Attended, under the Erasmus+ program, the University of Patras, Greece (2017). Integrated Master's thesis entitled "An architect representative of power. A study of the Palaces of Justice in the work of Januário Godinho". PI5O collaborator since September 2019.

Paulo Pereira
(São João da Madeira, 1987). Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Beira Interior (2013). Integrated Master's thesis entitled Termas da Touca - Alpedrinha: recovery and expansion of the old spa, aiming to contribute in some way to a historical and current recognition of the Termas da Touca. Collaborated with the company Industrial Laborum, specializing in the production and installation of furniture for laboratories, hospitals, clinics and universities (2017-2019). PI5O collaborator in 2016 and currently since January 2020.

(Estarreja, 1997). Mestre em Arquitetura pelo Dep. de Arquitectura da Fac. de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra (DARQ-FCTUC) (2021). Dissertação de Mestrado Integrado intitulado REssignificar o lugar - Projeto de reabilitação e valorização do Mosteiro de Santa Cruz de Coimbra e área urbana envolvente, projeto finalista do ARCHIPRX Portugal 2022. Colaborou com João Mendes Ribeiro (2019). Colaborador PI5O desde setembro de 2022.

Joana Vieira
(São João da Madeira, 1993) Master's degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture of the University of Minho (2016). Integrated Master's thesis entitled "Interpretation and representation of the inconstancy between land and water in Ovar". Collaborated with the company Amorim & Filhos Construções, Lda, integrating the company's technical team, in a symbiosis between the abstract and the physical - the idea and the construction, developing from the project to the supervision of the work, mainly single-family housing (2017-2024). Also sought to acquire new professional experiences autonomously and independently, complementing her skills through the creation and development of projects for industrial, commercial, restaurant and healthcare buildings (2018-2024). PI5O collaborator since May 2024.

(Albergaria-a-Velha, 2000). Master's degree in Architecture from the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (DARQ-FCTUC) (2025). Integrated Master's thesis entitled "Excavation in Landscape Design: The Tower as a Cultural and Natural Place for Heritage Preservation". PI5O collaborator since May 2025.

Carina Brandão
(Oliveira de Azeméis, 1998). Graduated in Design and Communication from the School of Arts and Design (2019). Develops work in the areas of visual identity, digital communication and graphic production. Combines creative experience with administrative management of the company, ensuring organization, team support and clear and consistent communication. PI5O collaborator since November 2025.
